Amazon to build 'most advanced' fulfilment centre

30 November 2021

Amazon has announced it will set up a fulfilment centre in Abu Dhabi to reduce delivery times and support local businesses.

The online retail giant has partnered with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) to build the facility, which is scheduled to open in 2024 on a 175,000 sq metre site. The centre is part of ADIO’s programme to attract investment that drives innovation and supports entrepreneurship and the growth of the retail ecosystem.
