How reforming ASEAN logistics rules could boost growth

ASEAN economies could benefit to the tune of $4.5bn a year if restrictions on the region’s logistics industry are lifted, according to the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

The OECD’s report said regulatory obstacles are impeding competition in its logistics industry, reducing efficiency, driving up costs for businesses and hampering regional and international trade.
