Suppliers aiming to raise prices in the UAE due to higher costs will need to seek approval from the Ministry of Economy (MoE) under a new policy.
The policy – which covers more than 11,000 consumer goods including milk, chicken, eggs, bread, flour, sugar, cooking oil, and mineral water – is an extension of the MoE’s monitoring of commodity prices.
