Deadly roads put economy and lives at risk

Government action is needed to reduce the number of deaths on Zimbabwe’s roads and create an integrated transport infrastructure network to secure economic growth, a report has warned.

Poor road safety in Zimbabwe is taking a huge toll on the economy and could lead to even greater damage if not action is taken, according to the report by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA).
