Nestlé to pay cocoa farmers to keep children in school

Nestlé has revealed plans to pay African cocoa farmers directly for not using child labour and applying good practices after a pilot project showed this could triple crop yields.

The Swiss group said it also planned to triple cocoa sustainability funding to $1.4bn over the next eight years.
