New Zealand braces for disruption as Omicron hits

New Zealand is bracing itself for potential supply chain disruption as the first cases of community transmission of the Omicron variant are detected.

Prime minister Jacinda Ardern announced the country would shift to the “red” traffic light setting after Omicron community cases were confirmed.
