Indonesia wants to capitalise on high international prices for palm oil while meeting domestic demand and ensuring prices do not rise at home, according to a government minister.

Deputy coordinating economics minister Musdhalifah Machmud’s remarks came as the country comes under fire for its surprise ban on palm oil exports last month.
