Chinese lockdowns halt production at Tesla and Toyota

Tesla and Toyota are among the companies affected by China’s ongoing zero tolerance Covid-19 policy and rolling lockdowns.

Tesla was reported to have closed some production lines at its Shanghai gigafactory because a supplier’s operations had been temporarily shut by local authorities.
