SM names the 35 under 35

1 December 2009
Ever wondered where all the talented buyers are? Well, SM is here to provide you with a handy line-up some of the hottest properties in the business. Our next issue sees the welcome return of the 35 under 35. The feature profiles 35 rising stars of procurement and offers an exciting look at what the future might hold for the profession. One of the striking things about the line-up is its diversity. They represent a vast array of industries and sectors including retail, manufacturing, health, local government, consultancy, financial services, defence and central government. There are many more international entries in the 2009 list, with individuals from China, Africa, Australia and India among the young stars. The group is also characterised by a fairly even gender split, with 13 women and 22 men judged to be among those who have the credentials of a future CPO. We hope you enjoy reading about all of their achievements and aspirations.
