Change is inevitable

Someone once said: “When you are through changing, you are through” – what are you doing to alter things for the better? In our forthcoming issue (out on 28 May) we speak to recruiters about what job opportunities are out there for buyers. As you’ll see from the two articles in that issue – individuals with strategic procurement and change management skills are in demand. A number of companies overseas are looking to establish procurement functions, while others want purchasing professionals who can help extract the most value from existing buying departments. And that’s just for starters. LG is a huge company, but when it comes to procurement it knows it doesn’t have it all right – yet.
