Become a CIPS Assessor

CIPS review its on-going resource requirements for assessment delivery regularly and recruit and train Assessment Consultants as appropriate with its requirements.

A pre-requisite to become a CIPS assessor is current MCIPS or FCIPS and Chartered Status. Assessment consultants are required to formally record their CPD activity and to provide this record to CIPS annually. As a minimum, assessment consultants are expected to undertake 30 hours learning in relation to the topics covered within the CIPS Global Standard, this should include the CIPS ethics test. CIPS requires that assessors undertake CPD in order to keep up-to-date and be able to respond competently to changes in the business environment, organisational requirements or client needs. Details of the CPD requirements for members are detailed on the CIPS website.
