Innovation and interaction are the buzzwords for CIPSA Conferences in 2013, with a packed schedule featuring a mix of the largest and most popular Major Forums, market relevant Strategic Procurement Forums and one-off Special Interest Forums.
Initial trials of interactive and dialogue-type sessions during 2012 have received extremely positive feedback, so these types of sessions will be integrated into 2013 events where the formats will provide better opportunities for delegate engagement and learning.
While many of the names stay the same, the delegate experience will be improved with:
Greater use of interactive sessions for more active engagement and learning
Greater use of pre- and post-conference research to deliver content more focussed to your needs
Greater interaction between delegates and speakers using “silent microphone” technology
Greater interaction = greater networking between delegates using private messaging at each event
2013 will also see conference apps being used at all events, providing rich delegate information and facilitating some of the functionality described above.
