Ms. Hayley Walters, an executive director of Accenture’s supply chain practice in Africa, has been appointed Chairperson of the CIPS Africa Procurement Awards adjudication panel. Alongside Mrs. Walters, Mr. Kevin Naik of the National Treasury will also serve on the awards adjudication panel in his new capacity as the deputy chair.
Dr. Boateng said, “The last 3 years have brought increasing recognition of the CIPS awards by African governments, business and academia. Ms. Walters brings a wealth of experience that will help to further adjudicate leading practices across all sectors. I look forward to her contribution on the panel.”
Commenting on the new appointments, Mr. Andre Coetzee, the Managing Director for CIPS Africa said, “I am pleased to have a multisectoral professional like Ms. Walters assume the chairperson role. Her experience will prove invaluable as we continue working towards identifying and encouraging continent-wide best practice in procurement and supply
