CIPS Foundation proud to have their first recipient graduate with a CIPS Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply

The CIPS Foundation is a charity that is dedicated to supporting those who struggle to get into or wish to further themselves within the procurement and supply profession. Open to anyone in the world the Foundation aids those who have barriers to career development. Those that have experienced great hardship, serious illness, political unrest or discrimination are encouraged to apply for a bursary or scholarship through the CIPS Foundation.

Congratulations to Shadreck Masedewe who is the first CIPS Foundation recipient to graduate with a CIPS Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply.

Shadreck Masedewe, recipient of the CIPS Foundation bursary comments: “Without the support from the CIPS team and the Foundation, I wouldn’t be here now, I am bursting with pride and so are my family. Thank you CIPS, for your support and for believing in me, I will make you proud and never forget you.”

The procurement and supply profession play a pivotal role in society and by supporting students in their qualifications it encourages students to rise above their challenging circumstances and be successful in their profession.

The Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) make an annual contribution to the Foundation and encourages businesses to get involved and help transform the lives of young people.
