Coronavirus (Covid 19) and CIPS Exams

The Coronavirus (Covid 19) situation continues to develop rapidly. Following global public health and safety advice about social distancing, last week we made the difficult decision to cancel our May exam series.


As many of us around the world are affected both professionally and personally and adapt to new ways of living and working, we want to thank all our students for their understanding and patience.

All cancelled bookings will transfer to July exam series

If your exams were cancelled in March or May, we will transfer your booking to our 13 – 24 July exams series.

  • You don’t need to do anything – your exam will be transferred to July as a priority booking
  • If your CIPS study centre booked your exam, we will contact them to rearrange your exams, keep in touch with your study centre about your availability for July
  • Your updated July exam booking will be in your account by 8 May 2020
  • Revised exam timetables for all future series will be available imminently in the Student Zone

Continuing to support you during the Coronavirus pandemic

We will continue to follow guidance by the World Health Organization on social distancing due to COVID 19. We sincerely hope that all future exam series will go ahead as planned and will work closely with our international colleagues and networks to monitor the situation.
