Linklaters LLP - first global law firm to achieve CIPS Corporate Certification – Standard

The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) has recently awarded Linklaters LLP, CIPS Corporate Certification – Standard, after they showcased a strong procurement function within their organisation.

The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) has recently awarded Linklaters LLP, CIPS Corporate Certification – Standard, after they showcased a strong procurement function within their organisation.

CIPS Corporate Certification – Standard, is a globally-recognised procurement accreditation that recognises a business’ continuous commitment to governance and compliance in procurement and supply chains.

Linklaters Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Management team ensured all processes met the required criteria for certification with particular strengths shown across the assessment in supplier management, risk management and sustainability.

David Noble Group CEO, CIPS comments: “This has been a journey of development for the team at Linklaters and the certification process has enabled them to continuously improve their operations in a number of areas.

“It is evident that Linklaters has done the groundwork in their procurement and supply operations that will allow flexibility and adaptability and the certification shows their continuous development and improvement within their organisation.”

Steve Burgham, Head of Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management at Linklaters said: “The process of applying for CIPS Corporate Certification – Standard, presented us with an opportunity to assess how our internal procurement processes, policies and guidelines matched up to the standard expected by CIPS.
