Initial results from the CIPS survey in partnership with Adecco Group, reveal low levels of awareness about the tax rule changes and their implications for organisations.
Low levels of awareness have been revealed in the initial survey results – Only 53% of respondents know when the new tax rules will be introduced.
Respondents were also unsure about liability for unpaid tax and National Insurance. Less than ¼ knew about implications for their organisation’s liability for unpaid tax and National Insurance.
And, in terms of readiness - Only 1 in 3 believed they had the in-house capability to ensure compliance with the new rules. Just 7% had consulted with their employment agency suppliers. And, only 1 in 5 was confident about their employment agencies readiness.
