CIPS Negotiation Challenge 2014 hots up as finalists are announced
The Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS), today announced the CIPS Negotiation Challenge 2014 finalists from the Peter Jones Enterprise Academies that took part.
For the past month, Peter Jones Enterprise Academy students have been brushing up on their negotiation skills and competing in the challenge which aims to equip students with the negotiation skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the world of work.
Over 20 Peter Jones Enterprise Academy teams from colleges across the country have been competing and six colleges have been chosen to go through to the final stage of the competition. They will now take part in a day long, inter-team challenge activity at Jaguar Land-Rover, Birmingham on the 6th March 2014.
As part of the challenge, students will take part in the Property Developer game where teams will negotiate head-to-head with each other to ensure the most profitable and successful outcome.
Shortlisted colleges are:
- Warwickshire College
- East Durham College
- Westminster Kingsway College
- City College Coventry
- Dudley College
- Leicester College
David Noble, CIPS Group CEO said:
